The PM Reset — How to Repair & Restore While You Sleep
Share
While you sleep, your skin enters its most powerful regeneration phase. Nighttime is when cell turnover peaks, collagen is synthesized, and actives penetrate deepest. Your PM routine isn't just skincare — it's recovery.
The Orrix PM Routine
Step 1 — Double Cleanse
Start with an oil-based cleanser or micellar water to dissolve SPF, makeup, and pollution. Follow with a gentle water-based cleanser for a truly clean canvas.
Step 2 — Exfoliate (2–3x per week)
Incorporate a chemical exfoliant — AHAs like glycolic acid for surface renewal, or BHAs like salicylic acid for pore clarity. Never over-exfoliate; more is not more.
Step 3 — Treatment Serum
Nighttime is ideal for retinol, peptides, or niacinamide. These actives work synergistically with your skin's natural repair cycle to target fine lines, uneven tone, and texture.
Step 4 — Rich Moisturizer or Sleeping Mask
Seal everything in with a nourishing moisturizer. Look for ceramides, squalane, or shea butter to reinforce the skin barrier overnight.
Step 5 — Eye Cream
The delicate eye area needs targeted care. A peptide-rich eye cream applied with your ring finger (lightest pressure) addresses puffiness and dark circles over time.
Think of your PM routine as a gift to tomorrow's skin. Wake up to the glow you invested in the night before.
